Ontario FIT Rates Will Change
Nov 1, 2011
While Ontario’s FIT rates clearly provided a distinct economic advantage to early adopters that invested in a sustainable energy footprint, those rates are being changed.
The Ontario Government had reserved the right to modify payment levels of the 20 year FIT contracts every two years, and that time has arrived.
New rates will be published early in the new year, yet it's likey safe to speculate based on the Liberal's committment to The Green Energy Act that new rates will provide an equally strong incentive to businesses who want to go green.
However, if you do have an approved FIT contract and would like to receive an estimate of costs, please give us a call. We can provide extremely competitive rates based on the many installations we've conducted to date and would be happy to chat to you about your project.
